Vicki has just recently joined mBarking as assistant trainer specializing in instructing beginning agility, NADAC style.
When Vicki experienced "empty nest syndrome" after her son Zach graduated from high school, she decided a dog would be a great companion to help fill the empty! After taking a beginning agility class from Kim Gould (Rocky Mountain Dog Training) she became hooked on agility and training. And although she vowed she would never compete, she and her border collie, Addie, are avid NADAC competitors, with titles ranging from novice through elite. She and Addie have been competing since 2008.
Vicki believes that consistent training intertwined with positive reinforcement, with both you and your dog having fun is the best way to build a solid and rewarding relationship. She is experienced with many teaching styles and methods to train certain elements.
